Hesburgh Libraries – Rare Books & Special Collections

The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections is in the Hesburgh Library at the University of Notre Dame.

The holdings include over 175,000 volumes, manuscripts, and ephemera. The collections strengths are in US History and culture, Italian literature, Irish studies, theology and church history, medieval and renaissance, sports research, American Catholic studies, and numismatics.
