A day to explore Edinburgh with Mom and Anahit before travelling to Balloch!

Unfortunately, I suck at taking pictures.

We visited Edinburgh Castle as a group and they got to see the fantastic views and crown jewels. We made a few more purchases in the gift shops and had some tea!

Of course we had to visit the Tartan Mill right outside the Castle. I might have gotten a woollen cape… 🙂

Our next adventure was to Balloch. It’s a little town that sits at the base of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

We got there by train.

I also booked this cute little B&B just around the corner from the train station, which was good because it was raining when we arrived.
